WHAT’S A TRADING CARD GAME?
A trading card game (TCG) is played using cards that are bought randomly and traded with friends (like baseball cards). Out of the hundreds of available cards, each player must customize a deck of approx. 30-60 cards. Each card has a unique ability or function in the game. A player’s deck will have a distinct power and strategy depending on which cards were selected. 

Unlike traditional card games (i.e. poker), there is no central deck of cards that is dealt to all players. TCG players compete by playing their customized deck versus another player’s deck.
